We want to keep you informed about the current situation we are experiencing with the connection to Santander Empresas.
What’s happening?
Despite the resources and efforts we have implemented to improve connection stability and prevent account lockouts, we continue to face significant issues with this site. Currently, the only way to connect is by updating the password in the Password Manager, but the account lockout behavior persists.
Important: This behavior is external to Syncfy
We have confirmed that this problem is caused directly by the banking institution and is completely beyond our control. We have documented the case of an external user (not affiliated with Syncfy) experiencing the exact same behavior:
- Their account is locked when logging in directly from different browsers.
- They must update their password to unlock it.
- This pattern occurs without using any aggregation service like Syncfy.
- This confirms that the restrictive behavior stems from the security policies implemented by Santander Empresas.
What can you expect?
If you use or are considering using Santander Empresas, you may experience:
- Frequent account lockouts
- The need to change passwords regularly
- Connection interruptions
What are we doing?
We are continuing to analyze the situation to determine if there are any viable alternatives. If we cannot find a solution, we will consider placing the site under temporary maintenance until we find a solution to this issue.
